Currently in Austin, Texas, Ashley Lange is a Background Designer originally from Wisconsin.

Her clients have included Netflix, Riot Games, Sega, Devolver Digital, Mattel, and Behavior Interactive as well as many others over her five years of experience creating artwork for dozens of projects with Powerhouse Animation Studios. She is well versed in adapting to new artstyles, working with teams, revising with feedback and contributing to animated shorts, videogame trailers, videogame cutscenes, game concept art, colorscripts and blender models as animation reference.

She’s lived in small towns in Wiscsonsin and Minnesota and moved to New York City to pursue her dream to work in games and animation with Boston and Austin afterwards.

As of this spring 2024, she is running a mentorship with WIA that will assist new graduates hone their portfolios to break into the animation and games industries.

Outside of art and commissions, she is a collaborator with her husband, Steven “Ster”, who owns and runs a highly successful gaming/movie youtube channel called STAR_ and a twitch stream as Ster. As a consequence, she’s also experienced in community and game outreach, interacting daily with fans and following gaming trends.

She is a scuba diver, a tenth level psychonaut alchemist in Pathfinder, a fisherwoman, an ice skater, a lifter, a webcomic creator and videogame / cartoon enjoyer.
